Why a book on Haemostasis? Is not this subject already covered in some haematology textbooks and practical haematology books? The answer is quite simple. As a practicing haematologist, a previous student and a part-time lecturer, I find that there is a need for a concise yet interesting book on this topic. Haemostasis is a fantastic and interesting subject, but to understand it one has to have exceptional imagining power. Without that and a good illustration, one will find it quite challenging to understand and and figure out the abstract pathways and processes. What more to memorise them! This book is presented in cheerful colours. It is hoped that the reader will find it intriguing to read on. "This interesting book will benefit HO, MO, specialists, students (including MLT and post graduate haematology students) and even haematologists." Dr. Hanizah Salwa Amran, MBBS, MPath (Haematology). "The book is concise and the diagrams are fantastic!" Dr. Koh Su-Yee, MBBS, MPath (Haematology). "The book will be of help for doctors in managing patients and undergraduates to understand the subject and prepare for exams." Dr. Husna M. Hazim (MO), MBBS (IIUM).
